Sangeeta is a specialized and one of the oldest practicing IP attorneys in India. She is now well known in the IP fraternity and within various industries as a pioneer in Intellectual Property Right Laws in India.
The firm was founded by her with the objective of becoming the most preferred law firm amongst all the other able colleagues. Under her stewardship, the Firm grew manifold and became a quality name to associate with. Due to her farsightedness, the firm has crafted its niche in the domestic as well as the international market and acquired many important mandates from both markets.
Sangeeta has rich and varied experience, spanning almost 35 years in the legal fraternity. She has been associated with some of the most revered names in the legal arena, where she has headed IPR teams/departments. Illustratively, she was retained as an IPR consultant by Nestle India for their IP portfolio.
Sangeeta has worked with over 200 foreign associates around the world and is well known in the international legal circles. She introduced India and its IP needs to many well-known and now large-sized firms in Europe, North America and South East Asia.
Sangeeta specializes in Patents, Trade Marks, Copyright and Design. She has been the lead counsel in many landmark judgments, which have laid down significant principles of law in IPR.
Sangeeta is actively involved in diverse contentious and non-contentious aspects of intellectual property law including devising IP protection and enforcement strategies, oppositions and cancellations, commercial exploitation of IP rights, border protection & enforcement, and other general aspects of IP law
Over the years, she has been personally responsible for esteemed portfolio’s like Mars, Nike, Department of Atomic Energy, Indian Oil Corporation, Coke, Nestle, Indian Institute of Technology, Sintex Industries, Pernod Ricard, Novartis AG, Bennett& Coleman Co. Ltd. (TIMES GROUP), Dabur Group, Modi Group, Godfrey Philips India (GPI), HCL, Wizcraft Entertainment, & Wave Group of Companies, to name a few.
Sangeeta is one of the oldest practicing Patent Agents in India. She herself specializes and looks after patenting inventions in the field of biotechnology. Her contribution in the field of patents has helped in the empanelment of the Firm with the Department of Atomic Energy (including 44 group/sister concerns), Indian Oil Corporation and Indian Institute of Technology.
She has been instrumental in the brand creation, brand management and strategic enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights for the Firm’s niche clients. Due to her overall domain-based knowledge of Intellectual Property Laws, Sangeeta has helped several organizations become LEAN IP Cells. Sangeeta also specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications worldwide.
Apart from rendering professional contribution, Sangeeta has been active in providing academic guidance to students of the IP subject. She has been an Associate Professor at the Indian Law Institute and Amity Law College on Intellectual Property Right Laws. She has also been associated with the Indian Law Institute as a visiting faculty member. She was chosen by the Government of India to give lectures on Intellectual Property Right Laws to judges of the lower/district judiciary.
Sangeeta has authored several articles which have been published in various IP journals, legal magazines (such as Lex Witness) and newspapers.

Mohit specializes in Dispute Resolution and Corporate-Commercial Transactions and Advisory. He has spearheaded several high-profile litigations in India He has been leading the firm’s dispute resolution team for over a decade now. In the recent past, he has advised & represented key and well-known clients and has conducted high profile litigations before the various High Courts and Supreme Court of India. In particular, Mohit has filed and prosecuted high-stake litigations before various fora, pertaining to Intellectual Property Rights Laws, Company Laws, Consumer Laws, Public Laws, Private International Laws, Foreign Investment Laws, amongst others.
Currently, Mohit and his team are assisting the Growers Association of the State of Madhya Pradesh in the now well-known Basmati Rice Geographical Indication Litigation before the GI Registrar and various other forums. Mohit, along with his team, is also assisting prosecution and trial of several patents, trademark copyright and design litigations being handled by the firm, especially the Standard Essential Patent (SEP) litigation.
Under the leadership of Mohit, the firm assisted large sized Russian hydropower company (which is the world’s third largest hydropower company), in setting up its business operations in India. The firm continues to act for them and for the joint venture company in India. Mohit is also currently advising a large-sized Russian government railways corporation in setting up business activities in India. He is also advising the Russian defence aviation corporation in seeking licences and permissions from the Indian government in terms of the new FDI rules allowing 100% investment in the Defence sector.
In addition to the above, Mohit has advised several fortune 500 companies in the sectors such as Telecommunications, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Media & Entertainment, Energy, Defence, Railways, Large Scale Infrastructure, Hospitality, Real Estate, Services, amongst others.
Mohit started his professional career as an associate counsel in the chamber of Mr. Amarjit Singh Chandhiok (Senior Advocate & former Additional Solicitor General of India). Subsequently, Mohit joined as an associate with Jyoti Sagar Associates in the Dispute Resolution Team headed by Mr. Amar Gupta.

Sidhant heads the patent prosecution and dispute resolution team of the firm. He has also obtained an honours degree in Physics. Sidhant specializes in trial proceedings before Indian courts and Tribunals and prosecuting disputes through Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanisms. He has spearheaded several arbitrations for biggest corporates in India. He has also led several contentious litigations and domestic and international arbitrations.
Apart from his vast experience in patents, he is well versed with the other IP Laws.
His proficiency extends to rendering opinions on infringement analysis and FTO Opinions/Searches. Due to his domain knowledge of the IPR laws of Europe and U.S., Sidhant is able to mould a sound litigation strategy in contentious patent matters.
Currently, Sidhant and his team are spearheading the prosecution of the infringement and cancellation proceedings of the now well-known Standard Essential Patent (SEP) Litigation on behalf of mobile handset manufacturers. He is also leading the firm in prosecuting an extremely high stake and a multi-million-dollar infringement litigation on behalf of an American-Canadian company which is enforcing its “Pioneer” patents on Telecom Antennas against fellow American, European and Chinese companies. Sidhant is adept at even prosecuting invalidation actions.
Sidhant has attained the distinction of assisting American attorneys in successfully prosecuting and defending cancellation actions before the PTAB in the United States.
Sidhant has previously worked in the chambers of Mr. Gaurav Pachnanda (Senior Advocate and former Senior Additional Advocate General for the State of J&K). He assisted Mr. Pachnanda in several forums, including Supreme Court and arbitral tribunals, which included drafting pleadings and conducting trials.
